Oem Vw Roof Rack Fairing

They are so dang loud without one.

But did find a solution on vw and audi forums that i used. Mk4 fit vw oem roof racks plus fairing vt. I called thule twice the first time they said the 872xt will fit the oem vw roof rack then when i called again they said they make no fairing that will fit the oem roof rack. Days on google and forums and i can only find universal fit versions that block the t track or instructions for modifying fairings that are no longer available and critical information lost in missing image placeholders.

Picked up an oem roof rack and a yakima fairing for my 2017 gli. Does anyone know what is going on and if any fairing will fit. I use the vw bars with inno snowboard rack and inno 48 wind fairing during the winter. Once installed it will not interfere at all with mounting accessories bike attachments ski snowboard attachments etc and as a bonus it looks very clean.

With whisper quiet electric vehicles becoming mainstream manufacturers will have to step up their game to develop products that are quieter untill hopefully one day the noise from the roof will be a thing of the past. If you need a fairing for the stock roof rack inno racks has one that will fit. A noisy roof rack can be very unpleasant and eliminating the noise should be a priority. Searched all the forums for 5 series on this and found nada. Oem vw carrier bars with key.

Posted by 7 months ago. Hi guys selling my tdi and was going to keep this setup but i don t think i ll use it so cleaning stuff out. Had it without the fairing for a while and it was a bit noisy at highway speeds but once i found the inno medium fairing it helped tremendously. What fairing on oem rack.

Now posting this so we are not outdown. To my surprise the oem racks are made from a thule design and probably by thule i would assume but no fairing option that was through thule or oem available for my set up. It clamps right around the oem bars and has a nice amount of adjustability. Page 1 of 3 1 2 3 last.

Hey guys im confused. Oem thule rack with thule fork mount bike carriers. In the meantime check out our roof. You will need longer fairing bolts but that s it.
